What is this resource?

The Plant a Planet Campaign encourages students and their families to see their own gardens as stores of food, stores of carbon, havens for wildlife, and a refuge to improve your own wellbeing.  This is a real feel good community project.  The campaign aims to create awareness and inspire action about the benefits of trees for our health and happiness. Throughout the campaign students and their families will learn about the importance of planting native trees for climate mitigation, adaptation, and biodiversity. We’ll provide you and your students with simple step-by-step instructions to help you run the campaign and foster meaningful conversations at home.
